Save the date for the third annual A Million Shades of Green Gala presented by Xcel Energy, Saturday, April 18. Two hundred guests attended last year’s gala, described as one of the more enchanting evenings of the spring season! The evening begins at 6:30 pm with a reception and a silent auction featuring items you won’t want to miss bidding on.
Dinner begins at 8:00 pm followed by A Million Shades of Green Awards Ceremony. Join 2008 honorees Target Corporation, Aggregate Industries, Minnesota DNR – Division of Ecological Services, Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, Layne Kennedy, Kinji Akagawa, and Joe Kingman as we honor:

Greening Welcomes New Board Member
Richard J. Savelkoul is an attorney with Felhaber Larson Fenlon & Vogt representing a wide variety of energy clients ranging from small hydro-electric and wind power producers to governmental subdivisions and Fortune 500 Companies.
Hospitality Crew Volunteers Wanted!
Hospitality crew team members help register, photograph, and serve lunch at restoration events, represent Great River Greening at community events like the Living Green Expo and Hands on Twin Cities Day at the Mall of America, and work internally to help improve Great River Greening’s event policies and procedures.
