Pilot Knob Description: Pilot Knob, a national historic site overlooking the Minnesota and Mississippi Rivers, is a significant place in our region's cultural and natural history. This year, volunteers will spread native prairie grass seeds and remove invasive species such as burdock and thistle. We will also talk about the exciting new plans for the site, ensuring that the area remains hospitable for a high diversity of native plants and provides habitat for grassland wildlife.
