Executive Director Announcement

Great River Greening is pleased to announce the selection of Kateri Routh as our new Executive Director. As Minnesota’s leader in community-based restoration, our work as a land and water conservation organization is more important than ever. Kateri’s leadership and vision will expand Great River Greening’s impact in Minnesota, as she brings strong expertise and passion to the role. We are grateful to the members of our community—including our Board of Directors, staff, and friends of Great River Greening—who participated in a thorough and thoughtful vetting process.

“The Great River Greening Board of Directors is thrilled to have Kateri Routh as our new Executive Director. Kateri mobilized the organization to drive significant progress on our strategic and operating priorities as Interim Executive Director. In addition, Kateri is an engaging, positive leader who works collaboratively across the Great River Greening Team, Board of Directors and our external Great River Greening partners.”

--Reed Watson, Chair of the Board of Directors
