Dave St. Peter will be the featured speaker for the 2016 Business Forum on September 28, 2016. St. Peter joined the Minnesota Twins as an intern in 1990, and over his first decade with the franchise held a variety of positions including Pro Shop Manager, Communications Manager, Vice President of Corporate Communications and Senior Vice President of Business Affairs. St. Peter shares in a 2014 interview with Jason DeRusha,”I got an internship with the North Stars in the summer and fall of 1989 and absolutely was bit with the professional sports bug. Then I got an internship with the Minnesota Twins. Halfway through, the Twins offered me a full-time job, running the pro shop in Richfield.” St. Peter took over as President in 2002, and now oversees the team’s day-to-day operations, strategic planning, and interaction with Major League Baseball.
