Jake joined Great River Greening in March of 2023 as an ecologist. He will mainly work throughout Central Minnesota managing restoration projects, assisting with volunteer events, and conducting ecological inventories. Jake comes to Great River Greening with experience in forestry, conservation planning, and environmental restoration. Jake holds certifications as a woodland stewardship plan writer and a tree inspector from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR).
Outside of work he likes to fly fish, snowboard, hike, and visit local craft breweries.
