As an ISA certified arborist, Daniel primarily focuses on the Cooling Minnesota Communities project. He works to ensure sustainable urban tree canopy with a focus on putting the right species of tree where it is most needed and has its best chance of long-term growth and success. Daniel has a B.S. in Ecology from the University of Minnesota and has always had an interest in studying prairie, forest, and wetland ecosystems. He has 5 years of experience as a climbing arborist and continues to enjoy tree climbing when given the opportunity. He is a Journeyman arborist as licensed by the State of Minnesota. He lives in Lakeville with his wife and two daughters.
