Seeds-on-a-Stick!
Common Milkweed

Planting Instructions:

  1. Choose a spot in your yard or garden.

  2. Dig a small hole, about 1 inch deep.

  3. Place the Seeds on a Stick in the hole with the stick pointing up (so you can read what you planted), and then cover the seed ball with soil.

  4. Water your newly planted Seeds on a Stick.

  5. Watch and wait for plants to grow, either this year or next!

  6. Check seedlings for droopy leaves; water as needed.

  7. Milkweed is a critical food plant for monarch caterpillars. Watch your milkweed for monarch visitors!
