Seeds-on-a-Stick!
Common Milkweed
Planting Instructions:
Choose a spot in your yard or garden.
Dig a small hole, about 1 inch deep.
Place the Seeds on a Stick in the hole with the stick pointing up (so you can read what you planted), and then cover the seed ball with soil.
Water your newly planted Seeds on a Stick.
Watch and wait for plants to grow, either this year or next!
Check seedlings for droopy leaves; water as needed.
Milkweed is a critical food plant for monarch caterpillars. Watch your milkweed for monarch visitors!
