Keela Bakken, Harris CompaniesKeela is a Division Manager at Harris Companies, one of the largest mechanical contractors in the United States. She is responsible for the start-up of their newest division, Energy Services, which focuses on developing sustainable and energy efficiency solutions for facilities. She was recently featured inMinneapolis St. Paul's Business Journal's Women to Watch for finding innovative ways to make sustainable energy projects come to life. Prior to joining Harris Companies in 2007, Keela worked within the industry for Siemens, Eaton Corporation, Westinghouse, and 3M. Keela holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering from North Dakota State University and a MBA from Seattle University. As a runner, biker, swimmer, she enjoys living in the lakes area of Minneapolis. Todd Rhoades, Cermak Rhoades ArchitectsTodd is an architect, urban designer and adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota. He is the co-founder of Cermak Rhoades Architects, whose projects range from site evaluation studies to multi-million dollar construction projects, in many cities and towns across Minnesota and Wisconsin. He was a project coordinator at the U of M's Design Center for American Urban Landscape for the Hollman Settlement in North Minneapolis, which addressed complex issues related to housing and neighborhood connections across a 100 acre site. He also led the design team in East Grand Forks to create a framework plan for the city after the devastating flood of 1997. As an extension of his passion for architecture, Todd is also a skilled furniture maker who designs and constructs cabinets, chairs and wooden bowls.
