When: Wed, May 23, 12:30pm to 4:30pmWhere: Talahi WoodsVolunteers needed: 30Supervisors needed: 5Join in for this habitat restoration event at Talahi Woods! Already a lot has been done to remove older growth invasive shrubs (like buckthorn), but we need your help to continue the effort with invasive plants that are easier to manage by hand. Work involved at this will be determined by what is most prevalent, but may include garlic mustard pulling, burdock spiking, buckthorn pulling, etc. This event is open to 30 individuals.Partners and Funders: St. Cloud State University, South East St. Cloud Neighborhood Preservation Coalition, Connexus, and Outdoor Heritage Fund.

  • Walking distance: not strenuous - approximately 1/2 mile to work site
  • Snacks and lunch will be provided
